FMCG company, Indonesia
THE CHALLENGE
The customer is a leading Indonesian manufacturer of hundreds of products operating numerous FMCG plants that adhere to strict production standards. Previously, each plant used separate systems or
depended on manual reporting, which weakened management’s ability to centrally control production performance. When downtime or quality issues arose, critical information often reached management with significant delays, causing strategic decisions to lag
while production losses continued.
This lack of integration made it nearly impossible to compare OEE across plants, despite OEE being a key benchmark for operational efficiency. Meanwhile, the company needed to ensure regulatory compliance, reduce the risk of procedural errors by operators, and
cut costs without compromising productivity.
Without an integrated, predictive platform, the company faced risks of unexpected downtime, slow emergency responses due to the absence of centralized monitoring, and a burdensome, inconsistent manual reporting process that was difficult to audit. In the long term, this situation threatened financial losses, supply chain disruptions, and damage to the company’s reputation.
CUSTOMER NEEDS
• Full cross-plant visibility in a single integrated OEE platform, enabling real-time decision making at the management level.
• Remote monitoring and control with no user limits, allowing rapid, data-driven interventions to be executed within minutes.
• Real-time data integration, predictive analytics, and automated Pareto visualization from SCADA/MES systems to anticipate downtime and detect quality deviations before they escalate.
• A user-friendly, no-code system that upholds production standards, saves staff time, increases productivity, and reduces operating costs simultaneously.
• Real-time data integration with Unified Namespace (UNS) with MQTT as the main universal protocol.
Real-Time Cross-Plant Visibility. Management now monitors OEE for every plant in a single centralized
dashboard, accelerating performance deviation detection and strengthening data-driven decision making.
Faster Operational Response. Critical issues can be addressed remotely within minutes without manual reports, cutting downtime duration and reducing production losses.
Higher Staff Productivity. Automated reporting saves hundreds of hours of manual work, allowing
staff to shift toward value-added activities such as process optimization and quality improvement.
SCADA/MES Pareto Analysis. External data is mapped to identify dominant causes of downtime,
quality deviations, and inefficiencies, ensuring corrective actions target the highest-impact areas.
Seamless Scalability. The system handles over 10,000 tags and unlimited users without additional
licensing fees, remaining reliable as production capacity and user numbers grow.
THE IMPACT
