The main goal of this integration was preventing risks of equipment shutdown and downtime during power outages and malfunctions of communication equipment.
The company needed not only dispatch software for communication, but also a solution for remote monitoring of operability and power supply state of the communication equipment for accidents prevention. The chosen solution was SmartICS as an extension of SmartPTT dispatch software and AdapTel interface adapters.

VOICE COMMUNICATION
The digital DMR radio system was added to the current analog one. The SmartPTT dispatch software provides simultaneous operation of both systems, allowing coordination of all company staff.
EQUIPMENT MONITORING AND CONTROL
In case of facility malfunctions, the control module connected to the AdapTel closes the dry contacts on the remote equipment. This fact is displayed on the dispatch console and the dispatcher can immediately respond and call the repair service. As a result, the company repairs malfunctions quickly.

The response time to emergencies decreased significantly by getting the timely information from the telecommunication and electrical equipment on the SmartICS console transferred via AdapTel interface adapter.
